Fees & how it works

Japan proxy-buying costs ¥300 per item. The remittance fee is charged per payment to a seller (per item for Mercari and other flea markets and Yahoo Auctions, per actual remittance for shops): ¥180 under ¥25,000 or ¥250 at ¥25,000 and above. Members pay no purchasing fee. You first pay the item price and confirmed seller shipping. Purchasing and remittance fees are settled in the second payment with international shipping, except on orders whose fees were prepaid. A separate success fee applies if you use our negotiation service.

International shipping is calculated after we check the weight and packaging at our Japan center. Shipping from the seller to our Japan center is separate from international shipping to Korea. Confirmed seller shipping is included in your item payment. Any unconfirmed collect shipping charges are added to the invoice after arrival. Calculator estimates may differ from the final invoice.

Prices are in the local currency and are converted to KRW at the rate at the time you pay. KRW amounts shown on screen are estimates and may shift slightly at payment.

No. You pay based on the price shown on the item page; we don't add consumption tax on top.

Goods valued at US$150 or less (US$200 for express from the US) usually clear without duty or VAT. Above that, duty and 10% VAT may apply, and items arriving the same day can be combined. Check ahead with the duty calculator.

Usually 1–7 days from the seller to our Japan center, then 3–5 days on average from the center to Korea. Seller delays or customs backlogs can add time.

Bank transfer, voucher balance, or card. Cards are charged in JPY (¥); Kakao Pay and Naver Pay aren't available right now.

We don't accept buying requests for Mercari auction listings. Please request fixed-price items only. Yahoo Auctions is available through our bidding service.

We deliver only to a Korean address (5-digit postal code) with a personal customs code (PCCC). For any other address, please ask us in chat before ordering.

We refund that item's amount to your voucher balance right away. You can use it on your next payment or request a bank refund on the voucher page. If you paid by card, we can also refund it to the card on request.

Voucher you top up by bank transfer can pay for both items and shipping. Bonus vouchers such as the welcome voucher or top-up bonus can be used only for shipping payments after arrival.

Successful Mercari negotiations incur a 3.5% fee for free-plan users or 2.0% for members. The success fee is calculated on the negotiated price with no minimum fee. Purchase fees, remittance fees and shipping are separate. Negotiation may not succeed depending on the seller's response and item availability.
